Agency History

The first spark was ignited more than two decades ago when Joanne "T"ruffelman and Lauren "G"enkinger, meeting over cocktails, had the idea of opening their own advertising agency.

They founded TG Madison on April Fools' Day, 1986, so they could tell their friends it was all a joke if things didn't go according to plan. Well, things did go according to plan and, now, their independent agency has grown into a well-respected entity of passionate and highly trained professionals who take their jobs quite seriously.  And, we value our independence more than ever. Rather than answering to stockholders or some distant holding company, we answer to our clients - and ourselves.
